So yesterday I was planning on just hanging out at my apartment after Melissa and Liz left but someone from work called and told me that I should go downtown because there was some kind of festival going on that I probably wouldn't get to see again. I'll let this short video I made speak for itself, but I still don't really know what this event was. All I know is that 90% of the people there were on bikes. And there was breakdancing. ADDENDUM:
Apparently if I had read the Embassy newsletter a little more carefully I would have caught the paragraph about this event. It was the annual "Vela Hora" bike rally where people do a 20k loop on bikes around the city and the festival in the center of town was affiliated with this.
We ran into this too! Redic. Were you there when "We are the champions" came on and hundreds of bicyclists passed by?
